Anwen, a young girl from the small village of Tref-y-Bont located deep in the South Wales valleys had gone about her day as she normally would. After school, she arrived home to discover her world had been turned upside down but a serious incident at the local colliery where her dad had been working as a coal miner. The incident had caused a number of fatalities and, unfortunately for Anwen, her dad was one of those that lost their lives that day.

Unsatisfied with the findings of the inquiry into the disaster, Anwen sets out on a journey to discover the truth and expose the conspiracy that enabled those responsible to escape blame for the tradgedy.
